Hiking, Cycling and Traditional Craft in the Kiso Valley and Ina Valley

A special 4-day/3-night tour that includes the world-famous Nakasendo Walk (Magome - Tsumago) and various other unique and exciting tours! From local food to local traditional handicraft, and cycling in Kiso and Ina Valleys. Each evening, relax and unwind in onsen hot springs!

[Day 1] Hike the Nakasendo (Magome - Tsumago) - An ancient mountain road which once connected Kyoto and Tokyo.
[Day 2] Hike the Chuma Kaido - A rural ancient trade route through central Japan. Meet the locals and learn how to make their traditional cuisine.
[Day 3] A kimono silk weaving factory tour/experience & the Komagame Ropeway/walk around the Senjojiki Curl - Meet the artisans making Ina Tsumugi Pongee, a luxurious silk from the Ina Valley and designated Japanese traditional craft. Try weaving with your own hands and then enjoy astonishing views of the Senjojiki Curl.
[Day 4] E-bike cycling on the Phantom Nakasendo - Cycle on a section of the original Nakasendo which closed after only 15 years of use. Ryohei Oguchi, an accomplished round-the-world cyclist will be your Japanese guide (he will be accompanied with English guide).

The tour will end at Narai-juku on the Nakasendo.

- Cancellation Fee -

In cases where the customer cancels the contract after the contract has been completed, 1 customer will be charged a cancellation fee from their travel fee at the following rates. In cases where multiple people are participating and a portion of the customers cancel their contracts, we will charge the remaining customers a fee based on the difference according to the change in the number of people (around 1 vehicle/1 room per person) using transport and accommodation facilities.
