Yonako Falls is the group of sacred waterfalls Fudō Falls and Gongen Falls, which flow with a thunderous roar into the serene valley. They originate from Mt. Nekodake and Mt. Azumaya respectively,and both mountains are objects of worship at Fudōji temple. As part of this special program, you will participate in the Gomataki incense offering ceremony at Fudōji Temple at the base, and then, with special permission, visit the designated area by vehicle to explore the 'Kimyosan Stone Buddhas' and enjoy autumn foliage trekking, all while taking in the colorful spectacle of the cascading waterfalls.

Day 1:
 Morning: Depart from JR Nagano Station by taxi to Suzaka City.
 Noon: Lunch at Kōjiya Hondō Jōzōho (Featuring fermented cuisine using Hatcho miso).
 Afternoon: Visit Yonako Fudōson Hombo Takizan Itokuin Fudoji Temple and Okunoin (Learn the history of Fudo Buddhism, the Yonako Kodo Trail and Ōzasa Road, and participate in the Gomataki fire ritual).
 Evening: Taxi ride to Kojōsō (Hot spring bath).
 Evening: Check in to your hotel (Shirafuji or Kojōsō) and have dinner

Day 2:
 Morning: Breakfast
 Morning: Depart from Shirafuji/Kojōsō. Taxi to the vicinity of Mt. Yonako Fudōson Okunoin (entry into an area not accessible by regular vehicles). Upon arrival, trek with mountain guide to explore the 'Kimyōsan Stone Buddhas' and see the vibrant autumn foliage surrounding the scenic overlook as you gradually approach the spectacular cascading waterfalls.
 Noon: Lunch (Vegetarian bento box; vegan option available). Lunch will be enjoyed amid the autumn foliage, at a former mining site adorned with various hues.
 Afternoon: Proceed to the inner sanctuary of Yonako Fudōson. Take a break at the Nekodake Mountain Lodge. Guided exploration around Okunoin (Stone monuments, Okunoin area, Gongen Falls), and go to the parking area.
 Afternoon: Return to Suzaka. Taxi to Kojōsō (Hot spring bath).
 Evening: Return to hotel
 Night: Dinner in Suzaka city (Choose from facilities on the map).
 Night: Social event with local residents at Guesthouse Kura (Sake tasting included).

Day 3:
 Morning: Breakfast .
 Morning: Depart from hotel by taxi for Tanaka Honke Museum. Take a guided tour by the head of Tanaka Honke and learn about the affluent merchant culture of Suzaka.
 Noon: Lunch (Experience Edo-period special menu at Tanaka Honke).
 Afternoon: After lunch, taxi to Nagano Station to end the tour

【Trek to the Kimyōsan Stone Buddha Group and Enjoy the View of Yonago Falls from Ukishima】

This time, We'll be guiding you on a trek around the Kimyōsan Stone Buddha Group and Ukishima, allowing us to savor the breathtaking autumn scenery of Yonago Falls from a different perspective. This area holds the traces of the ascetic practices of the venerable priest Tansho, who was the founder of Manryuji Temple, and his disciples. It is a place of religious significance, featuring rock caves and a sacred stone seat known as the 'Iwakura,' used for Gomitaki fire rituals. Ukishima stands at a height of 2.9 meters with a diameter of 8 meters and a circumference of 14 meters, presenting a flat rock surface. On Ukishima and within the rock caves, you'll find stone sculptures and ritual objects, including Jizo statues meticulously carved by Tansho during his 12-year meditation retreat.
