◆Fire Ritual and Canyoning
The Yonago Waterfall Cluster consists of the Fudō Falls (89m, also known as the White Dragon Falls) and the Gongen Falls (82m, also known as the Black Dragon Falls), which flow down with thunderous resonance from the sources of Mount Negatake and Mount Azumayama. These falls are considered the sacred objects of our temple. You will have the opportunity to experience the fire ritual and Canyoning in this holy setting.

Suzaka flourished with travelers on the Ohsasa Road and those visiting Yonago Fudoson. It played a significant role in its era.

Day 1:
Morning: Departure from JR Nagano Station by taxi to Suzaka-city.
Noon: Lunch at KOUJIYA HONDO JYOZOHO (Featuring fermented cuisine using Hatcho miso).
Afternoon: Visit to Yonako Fudoson Hombo Takizan Itokuin Fudoji and Okunoin (Exploring the
history of Fudo Buddhism, explanations about Yonako Ancient Path and Ohsasa Road,
and participation in fire ritual).
Evening: Taxi ride to Kojosou (Hot spring bath).
Evening: Proceed with Kojosou plan, check-in.
Evening: For Shirafuji plan, taxi to Shirafuji, check-in.
Night: dinner at accommodation.
Day 2:
Morning: Breakfast
Morning: Depart from the accommodation, take a taxi to Yonako Fudoson Hombo Takizan
Itokuin Fudoji.
Upon arrival, commence the ancient trail trek with a mountain guide.
Enter Yonako River midway for canyoning adventure (approximately 2 hours).
Noon:  Reach Yonago Waterfall (Parking area).
While continuing the trail trek, proceed to Yonako Fudoson Okunoin.
Lunch at Negatake Sanso (Vegetarian bento lunch, vegan option available).
Afternoon: Guided exploration around Okunoin area (Stone monuments, Okunoin, Gongen Falls),
followed by trekking to Yonago Mine Remains, Kimyo Stone Buddhas, and back to the
parking area.
Afternoon: Descend. Taxi to Kojosou (Hot spring bath).
Evening: Proceed with Kojosou plan,
Evening: For Shirafuji plan, taxi to Shirafuji.
Night: Dinner in Suzaka city (Choose from facilities on the map).
Night: Social event with local residents at Guesthouse Kura (Sake tasting included).
Day 3:
Morning: Breakfast .
Morning: Departure from Shirafuji and Kojosou by taxi to Tanaka Honke.
Upon arrival, guided by the head of Tanaka Honke, experiencing the affluent merchant
culture of Suzaka.
Noon: Lunch (Experience Edo-period special menu at Tanaka Honke).
Afternoon: After lunch, taxi to Nagano Station for dispersal.

【Yonako Fudoson Okunoin  Fudo Falls】

The Yonako Waterfall Cluster is comprised of Fudo Falls (89m: also known as the White Dragon Falls) and Gongen Falls (82m: also known as the Black Dragon Falls), which cascade down the serene valley with thunderous roars, each fed by the sources of Mt. Nekodake and Mt. Azumaya. These majestic falls serve as the divine objects of our temple. You will have the opportunity to experience canyoning in the Yonako River, which is formed from the flow of this sacred waterfall cluster, traversing the tranquil valleys between the roaring Fudo Falls and the resounding Gongen Falls, sourced from the peaks of Mt. Nekodake and Mt. Azumaya, respectively.

After the waterfall meditation, we will guide you on a trek to enjoy the scenic view of the Yonako Waterfall Cluster from the vantage point of the mining plateau.
