【Day 1】 Ise Grand Shrine: Visiting Geku and Naiku
At Geku, dedicated to Toyouke-no-Ōmikami, the deity of food, clothing, and shelter, you walk through a serene sanctuary surrounded by a solemn forest. Experience the tradition of the “Shikinen Sengū” ritual, performed every 200 years for over 1,300 years. At the adjacent Sengūkan Museum, explore its history, master craftsmen's techniques, and view a full-scale model of the Main Hall.
At the Naiku, you'll visit the Grand Shrine of the Emperor, enshrining Amaterasu Omikami. Crossing the Uji Bridge and purifying your heart in the clear waters of the Isuzu River, you'll proceed along the gravel approach path, enveloped in a sacred atmosphere. Experience the special feeling of the approximately 1,300-year-old Shikinen Sengū tradition and the beautiful grounds, considered a quintessential Japanese landscape.

【Day 1】Oharaimachi & Okage Yokocho (Lunch on your own)
Oharaimachi, the town in front of Ise Grand Shrine's Inner Shrine, is a popular walking spot lined with souvenir shops and restaurants along the Isuzu River. At Okage Yokocho, located in the middle, you can enjoy famous local foods like Akafuku's original mochi, shopping, and traditional craft experiences. Immerse yourself in the unique culture and lively atmosphere of Ise within this charming space recreating the streetscape from the Edo to Meiji periods.

【Day 2】 Yokoyama Observatory
Yokoyama Observatory sits at an elevation of 140 meters, offering panoramic views of the stunning Ago Bay.
The scenery of pearl rafts gently floating amidst the intricate rias coastline, woven by over 60 small islands and peninsulas, is truly unique to Ise-Shima. Here, you can leisurely enjoy the beautiful harmony of nature and human activity.
The observatory features walking trails, viewing terraces, a visitor center, and a café, allowing you to relax and take in the scenery while resting.
*When walking the trails, we recommend comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for mountain paths.

【Day 2】 Ama Hut Experience Facility Satoumi-an (Lunch on your own)
Satoumi-an is an ama hut-style restaurant overlooking Ago Bay. 【Day 2】 Pearl Miki
At Pearl Miki, you can experience harvesting pearls while viewing fish and sea urchins underwater from a raft at the Ikaura pearl farm, which retains the atmosphere of the early Showa period. In the classroom, you can also try making straps or pendants and learn the process from shell growth to pearl formation. The pearls you hold in your hands possess a special luster, offering the moving experience of holding a “one-of-a-kind treasure.”

It is known for granting blessings of abundant harvests, maritime safety, and household peace. Along the way lies the Mikazukazuka mound, said to grant romantic wishes, making this a unique place in Ise-Shima where you can experience waterfall ascetic practices. Purifying yourself under the pristine waterfall offers a profound sense of cleansing for both body and mind, providing a rare experience of becoming one with nature's power. Guides and white robes are available for rent, ensuring women can enjoy it with peace of mind.
