Ancient Trails and Alpine Scenery in the Kiso Valley and Ina Valley
A special 4-day/3-night tour that includes the world-famous Nakasendo (Tsumago - Magome) and other unique, yet undiscovered trails in Kiso & Ina Valleys on different days. Each evening, relax and unwind in onsen hot springs!
[Day 1] Hike the Nakasendo (Magome - Tsumago) - An ancient mountain road which once connected Kyoto and Tokyo.
[Day 2] Hike the Seinaiji Kaido - A beautiful ancient forest trail that connected Tsumago with the city of Iida in Ina Valley.
[Day 3] Hike the Chuma Kaido - A rural ancient trade route through central Japan. Meet the locals and learn how to make their traditional cuisine.
[Day 4] Walk around the Senjojiki Curl - Ride the Komagatake Ropeway, the highest (difference in elevation) ropeway in Japan and enjoy astonish views of the Senjojiki Curl.
